What the crap kind of muzzle device is this?

This is the second time I’ve bumped into this device, but I’ve got no idea what it is. Anyone?

On one of the pictures in the link you provided it appears to have the Rainer Arms symbol on the bottom of it.

Nice, thanks. There don’t seem to be any reviews out there. Maybe I’ll swoop one up and test it out.

I believe that’s called the perpetrator sticker…

It’s made from 4140, which we all know is not mil-spec, I wouldn’t touch one with a 10ft. pole

What are you talking about? Nowhere does anybody say that this is “mil-spec.”

I figured it for snarkasm but on a related note, what material is called on the A2 flash suppressor?

Really Dude… you thought I was serious? Check the “roll eyes” smiley.

I think it’s considered an ‘alternative’ to the PWS comps. Heard good things so far for the price point.

or people mover?

Not sure about that one but a phantom muzzle device does a great job convincing a pit bull to think about biting something besides me. Just sayin…

Battle prod.

I’ve sent people to the ER Trauma doc with the end of an A2 FS, its all a matter of how you use it, and how motivated you are…

ETA- To answer the original question, its one of the mini-comps from Rainier Arms. While I’ve read it works nicely, I have no actual trigger time with it myself as of yet.

Recalibrate your sarcasm detector or have a cup of coffee.

So I picked up a RMC, installed it and shot it today. It did a great job of keeping the muzzle flat (especially considering the $30 I paid for it), but it was seriously, uncomfortably loud on my 12.5 Noveske. Not only that, but it shoots fire. It is definitively for full length barrels and not for low light use.
