Hey Doc sorry if this has been asked before. I didn’t see it in any of the sticky threads. What do you think is the best 12 guage slug for LE use? I am trying to get my PD to switch over to the Federal LE132 or Hornady TAP 00 buck but didn’t know which slugs are performing the best. What are your thoughts on the sabot slugs?

Soft lead Foster slugs act like a Civil War era muzzle loader in terms of terminal effects in unobstructed shots, but do not handle intermediate barriers very well. On the other hand, Brenneke 1 oz slugs are hard to beat, as they do what slugs are supposed to do–penetrate.
