the SD M5 rifle I got came with a cheap copy of the RRA 2-stage trigger.
It still works but I rather like to run a single stage trigger.
I am not looking for a high-speed game trigger that will cost me an arm and a leg.
But I would not mind if the trigger would be light and crisp. May be getting a different hammer and springs would help. I am also planning to add a KNS-Gen.II anti roll kit.
So what do I have to look for and were do I get it?
A good place to start or consider is to have Bill Springfield work on it. He has great, fast, service and his results are noticeable. I had him work on my G3 clone and will be sending off my BCM trigger parts for his service next week. I know many here have had his work done and have been pleased. Good luck.
Hopefully someday soon Grant at G&R Tactical will have some of his LPK’s put together for sale.
Otherwise Im extremely fond of the LMT standard trigger.Just wish they would sell the LPK’s.
Bill Springfield trigger would be great - if you want a space-trigger, then Timney is very nice.
The Geiselle DMR can be adjusted to have a nearly transparent second stage, and while the priciest, is a very nice option.
You might look into the Jard single stage trigger. It’s crisp and light, after the initial looong take up. I use the 3 lb., which is actually a little heavier but am thinking of the 4lb. for my next lower as the 3lb. could be a little sensitive.
