For a simple rifle such as the 10/22, what are you all using for a sight?
Scope? What magnification?
Red dot? Holo?..

I have tried a lot. I finally settled on a Burris mini red dot sight. A good price and size match for the 10/22. I will attach a photo when I get a chance.
I also attached a cheapo laser. It was my first “coons in the peaches and sweet corn” night rifle.
Have since moved up to NV, IR illuminators and suppressed SBRs.
have fun

Burris Fullfield II 3-9X40 with ballistic plex reticle.

Tech Sight iron sights. It makes shooting my 10/22 like shooting a M1 Carbine.

I have a Mueller 4.5-14x APV scope on my 10/22 and it seems to be working out just fine.
I have been using a SWFA 6x42 mil dot scope with good success. It does make tiny-group 100 yd shots more challenging, but works great walking and hunting.
Bushnell TRS-25 RDS zeroed at 100 yards.
I use a Nikon 22 4x scope on one.
The other I use a Burris Full Field II, 3x9.
My Wife has a Pink Laminated 10/22 & it has a Bushnell 3x9.
All work as advertised.
I just put a Vortex Sparc on mine, ![]()

I have a Vortex Crossfire Rimfire 2-7x32 on my 10/22. Great little scope for the money, and just the right size and magnification for my needs.
My next 10/22 will wear a dot, but for this one I couldn’t get past the nostalgia of growing up with scoped .22s.

Nikon Prostaff Rimfire 4X
Irons for now because its how my wife likes it but I won a c-more at a 3 gun match so I’m considering putting that on.
Insight MRDS on a Brownell’s 10/22 specific rail
I have considered putting those on my Marlin 60, but have just never gotten around to it.

I’ve had my 10/22 for close to 25 years, and it still wears the same 4x Bushnell that my father put on it when he gave it to me. However, the scope is old, worn, and about ready to be retired. When that happens, I think I’ll put a Vortex or Burris 1-4x on it.
