What should my next AR upper be?

Here is what I have:

16" 5.56 standard rifle
12.5" 6.8 SPCII rifle
6.5 Grendel 20" target, heavy barrel, PRS stock
.308 OBR LaRUne rifle
5.45x39 rifle
14.5" 5.56 lightweight rifle
8" .300-221 rifle

I have a blank upper and a complete lower with a Jewell trigger installed.

I do reload, btw.

Any good calibers out there that use standard AR mags, and need just a barrel swap (no new bolt, etc.)

I’m almost thinking something accurate, flat shooting, high velocity/low bullet weight - something for varmints, or long range shooting, light recoil, etc. for the wife.

Though the prospect of another 6.5 Grendel, 14.5", in a more tactical configuration, has some appeal.

What do we have out there right now?

you could do a .204

Yep. It sounds like Greywolf2112 wants us to tell him to get a .204 Ruger.

So I’ll recommend the .17 Remington!
