Just got a new Savage 12LRP in 6.5 Creedmoor, I plan on using this rife primarily as a target rifle (There’s a 1000 yard range close to me). This rifle already weighs about 11 pounds so I’m not planing on using it to hunt with or carry long distance. It’s going to be a bench rest rifle for the most part. I already have a EGW 20moa rail on it and my budget is about $2000 without rings.
I will be shooting hand loaded ammo both fully re-sized an neck sized using both 120 & 140 bullets.
The distances will be from 500 to 1000 yards.
I’ve been looking at the Leupold VX-6 7-24x56 as well as others, what scope would you put on this rifle for that money?
