A question for anyone that runs a 92FS setup suppressed. Who’s spring do you run for a main recoil and what # do you use? Just ordered a Jarvis threaded barrel which will hopefully be here in a week or so.
Thanks guys!

I dropped it by one pound from factory and it works great ![]()
Sweet. Thanks for the info ![]()
I run the same factory spring either suppressed or unsuppressed.
If you are running a fixed mount you’ll need to drop it one pound. If you run a booster you can keep the stock spring.
I have a Nielson/booster in my can, and my 92fs stock spring cycles 147 and 158gr ammo just fine. If I run 115, or 124 it gets a little pickier and I need to drop down in spring weight. If I run a 10lb spring it works fine though.
Is there any difference in the way it feels from when you shoot with the fixed mount versus with the booster?
The recoil impulse is a little different with a fixed suppressor. The booster gives the gun a little more natural feel I think, as natural as it can be with a 10-15oz object hanging off your muzzle ![]()
That’s is a good point. The booster, or lack thereof, kind of gets lost in the sauce when discussing suppressors and subsonic ammo, etc.
I do have the booster with the factory spring. Both the Beretta 92 and Glock 19 run fine on several brands of 115 gr standard velocity and 147 gr subsonic.
