Why this website gets a “Fail”= It allows idiots like “SHIVAN the Almighty Moderator of All Things and Places” to abuse power in completely unreasonable ways.
I bought a pair of dead night sights from a guy on the equipment exchange. He forgot to mention the fact that they were dead. Part of the transaction was trading him a set of factory sights. Supposedly the were damaged by the post office on the way to him. He accused me of being a thief, a liar, and purposely sabotaging the envelope containing the $5 factory Glock sights (among other things). I accused him of selling me a dead set of night sights. We could not come to an agreement on fair resolution. He posted feedback for me, I was not allowed to post feedback for him, receiving a 3 day ban for attempthing to do so (true feedback free from any insults or cursing). SHIVAN, the Almighty Moderator of All Things and Places, felt that the topic had been covered enough in my feedback, and would not allow me to so much as post a link in his feedback to my feedback so that others might not go through the ordeal that was buying dead night sights from the man (Gutshot John).
An appeal to site staff simply said that what SHIVAN says goes. FAIL for fairness, doing something like that in person, face to face, would get you a split lip. Being an ass on the internet is much easier, and apparently encouraged on this website.
Seriously why do you keep coming here? Just let it go already. Weren’t you booted already for posting stuff? It sucks that you got burned but this is the internet world and you take your chances.
