What movie is your state?

So some internet wag put together a map of the United States with each state assigned a representative movie. You can view the map here:

I’m guessing some folks might have made a different selection for their respective state. Anyone have an alternative selection?

groundhog day for pa? eh i would have to disagree great movie but i tend to think Clerks is ours my area any way

Wolverines!!!

Deliverance of course

Since I am a Texan at heart I say Gaint, Liz Taylor Rock Hudson and the great James Dean…My second is Fandango another great Texas Movie.

Jesus Camp?! WTF? Never heard of it.

Robocop for my home state seems appropriate - at least for me as my hometown is Detroit.

No Country For Old Men, sweet loved that flick! Nothing like a suppressor on a shotgun!

First Blood F.T.W.!!

Gods and Generals

Scarface, nice!!!

“That’s gonna look real good on his grave stone in Arlington: Here lies John Rambo, winner of the Congressional Medal of Honor, survivor of countless incursions behind enemy lines. Killed for vagrancy in Jerkwater, USA.”

Thats funny! I thought of Red Dawn prior to even looking at the map! lol

MO should have been Outlaw Josey Wales.

He picked movies that were set in said state. As far as I know Clerks was not in PA.

If I was from PA, I would be pissed that he didn’t use The Deer Hunter.

Maryland should be Night of the Living Dead, or another horror film.

no wyoming folks posting in this thread yet…:smiley:

Yeah, not liking that one at all.

TN = The Evil Dead? I don’t get it.

I knew mine before I even clicked the link.

Ha ha freakin’ haaa.

Butch Cassidy, Shane, Any Which Way You Can, Starship Troopers, Dances with Wolves…

All movies filmed in or about Wyoming. Perhaps one of them would have been better for good ol’ Wyoming ehh?
