First time mounting a scope. I think I want either a bobro ot larue. If I go with a larue does it really make a difference to me if I use a lt 104 or a lt 111? There are no buis sights and it is a full length rail. If I go with a bobro, which one?

I went with the AP ultralight extended mount for my Patrol. I have no need for a QD mount and wanted lightest weight possible. 104 vs 111? It depends on where you need the scope based on how you ride the gun. Most of us would not bridge the receiver/ hand guard gap. GH
Bobro extended will give you more options as far as how you want the glass to be positioned. I prefer Bobro for a variable.
I run the LT104 with my VXR Patrol on a DDM4. I cant imagine wanting an extended personally. I dont have BUIS on right now, but the regular magpul MBUS was tight squeeze. The Troy’s fit perfect and I imagine the new MBUS pro’s would fit well too since they are very low pro.
With that said I just got a Bobro Aimpoint Micro mount and I really like the QD portion, but between that and the Larue I dont think you can go wrong.
