What mount are you using for an Aimpoint micro?

Which one? Why did you choose it? What would you do differently?

I’m leaning towards the Danial Defense so far.

I got a LaRue LT-660 when I got my T-1 because it was the only option other than the factory mount. It worked fine, but I found the QD feature superfluous as I really never remove optics. I switched to the DD earlier this year. It’s simple, sleek, lightweight and functional; and I have no regrets about switching.

I use the LT-660 mount for my T-1. It’s OK.

I just purchased a T-1 and bought the DD Micro as the mount. Looked like the lightest, sleekest mount available. I thought about a QD mount but decided against it. We’ll see how it all works out.

DD Micro mount here. No issues, very affordable and light.

DD mount with matching fixed irons. Great combo.

Larue is my choice for a quick detatch mount. DD is fine too if you don’t need QD. I’ve heard rumors that Bobro may do a micro mount some day that might give larue a run for their money,. but for now I’m sticking with the Larue.

Use both LT and DD, zero complaints on either. If you need to switch optics from one rifle to another then QD is of course easier. If not by all means DD.

DD for me and no intentions of using anything ellse.

ADM 1/3 Co-Witness. Love it. Very repeatable.

What about the KAC one? I dont have it yet but I have been eyeing it for a while. Anyone here have one? Your input would be apreciated.

LaRue on 2 and just got the DD. No issues with either.

Using the DD micro mount excellent and the KAC batter cover. I want light and have other optics on my other sticks.

I’m using the LaRue QD riser that came with the T1.

I use the DD mount. I figured if the Aimpoint Micro was ever damaged enough where I could not use the Irons through it then the gun is probably dead as well.

ADM QD with T1CO riser. Excellent!

I like the simple design of Larue, but I don’t like how it clamps to the rail.

Speaking of Bobro, yeah…good luck. I would buy it if they ever came out.

I might give a DD try. I need a it anyways.

When I bought mine it was ADM vs Larue. Both had great reviews. ADM had an American flag on it, so I got it. Another ADM mount and DD Lite rail later, 3 flags on 1 rifle. I like that the ADM locks closed.

For me it was between the Larue and the DD. I went Larue for the QD/return to zero feature. I have no complaints, performs as advertised.

I had two LaRue QD mounts for a pair of H1’s. They were awesome. If I did it again I would buy the DD because the QD is not something I really need. LaRue has responded and they now have a non QD mount option at a lower price. Both companies are GTG and have excellent customer service. If you need or want the QD get it otherwise the DD is lighter and cheaper. I have LaRue and DD rear sights and again they’re both awesome but the DD will be my choice from now on.
