What manufacturers of buffers are preferred?

I’ve done my share of searching and have come to the conclusion that I will purchase a H or H2 buffer for the collapsible stock I’m looking to put on my AR. It has a 16" bull barrel with a carbine length gas tube.

What manufacturers would you recommend, are there many meaningful differences, and where to acquire? How about a recommendation for the buffer spring too.

It appears that, as in everything AR these days, parts are getting scarce. I’m a Po’ Boy working with a limited budget, so I can’t afford any of those ultra fancy off the charts products.

Thanks Gents for your time…BEWW

You can go with BCM buffers and springs and never look back. Check out BCM and G&R Tactical websites.

Try the A5 buffer seems to work better the the H2

Spikes ST-T2 works great for me.

Overthinking is happening at this point.

Get a BCM, Colt, DD, or LMT buffer and you will be fine.

I have used a RRA spring and CAR buffer, it worked.

Then I switched to a BCM buffer and H buffer and it is great. I’d say get a quality H or 2 then you will be set.
