Just a cheapo soft sided case with about 6 magazine sized pouches on the side. Gets the job done.

If all you need is something to carry your rifle from the house to the car to the range and back, this case will do it just fine.
I actually need an additional rifle bag and am placing an order with Midway right now… perfect timing. 
This is what I use…I know it’s Condor Outdoor, but I don’t think you can beat it for the price…I paid $45 for mine from the local surplus store.
I went with a 5.11 Tactical 36" double gun case in the tan/dark earth/ whatever. I’ve been amazingly happy with it. I can do any combination of my AR, AK, 10/22, or Tactical 870. The molle sucuring system is pretty handy, I think it’s the backpack straps that really set this case apart. It’s awesome to be able to throw 2 guns on your back, a range bag over the shoulder, and have two hands for whatever you need (extra ammo, targets, etc). I got it on closeout a few months ago at LA Police gear for about $75. They are a bit more expensive now, but definitely worth every penny.

Hardigg im3100 Storm Case (now a wholly owned subsidiary of Pelican), much better latches than the Pelican, with folding handles too.
I have this same bag and also got it on sale and I love it. No matter what rifles I want to take with me that day I just move a couple velcro straps and I’m good to go. Highly recommend it.
