What is your current SD 9mm round?

For those that carry 9mm,
depending on how long you have chosen for it,
you may have gone from Silvertips to Black Talons and Ranger and Golden Sabers to Critical Defense, etc.

There was a recent thread discussing what is outdated.

So, just an official poll-

What are you currently using?

Federal HSTs, been using them for a little over a year or so after switching from Speer Gold Dots.

Speer 124 gr +p goldgot.
I have been using them the past 10 years. Previous carry/ issue round was 147gr Golddot

And I make two of us.

Although I think I’ve been using 147-grain HSTs for two years. Before that, it was 147-grain Gold Dots. Which was three or four years. Before that it was 115-grain +P Cor-Bon DPX.

Before that I didn’t own a 9mm.

Speer Gold Dot G2 (147gr)

Winchester Bonded Ranger (147gr)

Any of the Barnes X bullet loadings (115gr)

or

147gr HST’s

Whichester 147 ranger bonded and in the truck i keep 50 round box of 127 +p+ sxt

What my PD issues… Fed 147 HST

Winchester Ranger T-series 127 gr. +P+. I transitioned from Winchester Ranger 147 gr. Bonded JHP about 18 months ago. The T-series is some nasty stuff.

…

Speer Gold Dots

124 grain Gold Dots.

All of them?

I am starting to prefer the ranger-t’s though…

Ranger Ts 147gr, Gold Dot 147gr, some HST loadings, and even have a few mags floating around still loaded with Remington Golden Saber. Actually am thinking I need to pick some more Ranger T or HST up for the stockpile, just can’t find it in stock at a price I am willing to pay.

I prefer 124gr +P HST or Gold Dots. Right now it’s HST since I picked up a case a while back.

But, I’d feel comfortable with any HST or Gold Dot in the 9x19 variety.

Winchester Ranger 124+P T-Series, duty issued ammo, and one recommended by DocGKR http://pistol-forum.com/showthread.php?4337-Service-Caliber-Handgun-Duty-and-Self-Defense-Ammo

124 +p gold dot for about the last 13 years, before that it was win. 115 gr. ball. Both were/are issued.

124g Gold Dot.

Interesting choices for defensive use
