We have Ar’s with tube and barrel sight mounting points so which is best way to with ?The pros and cons of both ways are welcome.
I think balance is the obvious difference with a sight mounted over the barrel it will be front heavy with it over the tube it will be better balanced with the weight closer to you grip axis. This would primarily depend wether your a shoot and move or a more prone/bench shooter and what else you have up front ie light/lase etc. This is just my take on it.
