As the title says.
I want to replace the carbine stock on my ar with a rifle stock but I’m a bit confused. I read that they are different and I want the shorter of the two.
Thank you much for your time.
The A1 is the shorter LOP, a simple use of the search button would have yielded you the answer.
A1 is 5/8 shorter.
Thanks.
Acutely I tried the search. Always do. No help. Probably how I worded the question.
Its been known to happen from time to time.
Rumpelhardt - as stated, the A1 is shorter… make sure that when you order the parts, you get the Buttstock Screw for the A1, the A2 screw is longer and will stick into the receiver extension if you use it.
Also, the receiver extensions, springs and buffers are the same for the A1 and A2, the A2 just uses a spacer and a a longer screw (see para above :))
