Most users here have about the same list of blogs and sites that we look at to try to stay abreast of current events from a conservative POV.
I’m interested in looking at sites from the leftist activist POV, trying to gauge their desire for confrontation. I’m looking for indicators that things are about to go hot.
Regional posts from the East Coast, mid-Atlantic states would best serve my interests, but the opinions of national thought leaders are important, too, as kick starters for potential hostile action.
I’m not talking about CNN, Drudge, and the like. An aggregator similar to ‘normalamerican.com/news/’ for their POV would be valuable.
Any suggestions?
You think leftist news list what they’re about to do? If you want that info find a group and join their Facebook page

We Hunted The Mammoth is an absolutely awful leftist/feminist blog. As an added bonus the blog isn’t even run by a woman but by a “Male feminist ally”, who looks exactly like you’d expect a male feminist to look. There’s not a lot of calls to action in there or revealing of “battle plans” but it gives a good glimpse into these peoples’ heads, but its honestly so insufferable I haven’t checked it in literally months. I can’t stomach the retardation at this point.
Organizations don’t but people do, on their FB pages, on Instagram, on Twitter, in their public blogs, and in the comments.
Went to check out We Hunted The Mammoth. Top of the page did not disappoint

Not really. If that were the case, we’d have gone hot several years back, maybe even a decade ago, you know, if you believe “the chatter” like the FBI scares the normies with.
What you will get, just like on the right, is an endless parade of bloviation, regurgitated leftist dogma, and leftist rants-of-the-week.
They’re not going to voluntarily make themselves look bad.
Frankly, I’ve been perfectly happy with a variety of mid-to-right coverage of ‘events that don’t exist in the news’ from a variety of blogs, YT and BC channels, wherein I’ve pretty much gotten to the point of checking out the stories they post and ignoring most of the bravo chest beating bloviating.
You want an indicator? When the MSM is busy saying everything’s fine and blaming the ‘usual suspects’, while tripling down on ‘muh domestic terrorisms’ but all your favorite right-side blogs or YT/BC channels have disappeared randomly from the net one day… there’s your sign.
It’s been a while, but I used to look for stuff by Ezra Klein.
Real Clear Politics is a good aggregator where they post links to pro-con ‘doublets’ for perspective. Of all those, I find The Atlantic articles the least crazy and most rational and fact based rebuttals. All the media outlets lie and misconstrue. They all make crazy statements that are pretty easy to discredit- it is hard to get full real debate on a factual basis.
If you really want to ‘infiltrate,’ Facebook is your best place to start. I was hiding out in a leftist gun group for a while, but eventually I guess they cleaned house because I got booted. Or they got shut down and reorganized as something else. I keep a pretty sterile FB profile, so it’s hard to say, but either way there’s no shortage of angry blue-hairs on the internet praising combloc weapons to the moon and back. Good luck, but I doubt you’ll be turning up any actionable intel without serious efforts.

Getting a fairly accurate understanding of local activities is possible. You can get a pretty good feel for what your neighbors are talking about and what they might be intending to do. These activities will not get you anything about the local cells of regional or national underground radical groups, well organized, armed, and trained in appropriate operations security and counterintelligence practices. Leave them to the intel shop in the Fusion Centers.
Here is a reading list for localized awareness research. It works for rural communities, regional suburbs, and well defined urban neighborhoods. Follow the links, read and take notes. Be passive or get doxed, with all that entails.
Local college student newspaper articles, event announcements, letters to the editor, social media accounts of authors/contributors/editors/masthead staff/faculty advisors.
Local community free newspapers/broadsheets/magazines, articles, event announcements, letters to the editor, social media accounts of authors/contributors/editors/masthead staff.
Local church newsletters, social media accounts of board of director members/staff/authors/contributors/editors
Look for links to event announcements, handouts, posters, etc., on the bulletin board of the local supermarket, coffee shops or other places you normally go. Don’t try to “go undercover” and go places you don’t normally frequent; nothing good can come from that.
Sounds like a total waste of your time. Why do this at all? Just make your own appropriate preps and contingencies just in case. You won’t read the tea leaves and and you won’t learn any intel. It will do nothing other than raise your blood pressure. Instead, stop listening to either side and just enjoy life.
