I have 4 NFA items waiting for review and stamps- one integrally suppressed rifle, a pistol and rifle can, and a SBR. The integrally suppressed rifle check was cashed on 3/18/11- the other s on 4/7/11 and two onf 4/20/11. What info do I need to find out the status of the my first submission?
Name and serial number.
Also the transferor must have circled “I Do” to this question on the Form 4.

They might ask how many dogs you have at the house too. ![]()
Don’t bother calling in the first four months. If you don’t have reason to suspect an issue it’s a waste of everyone’s time.
As RyanB stated you haven’t been wiating long enough to make inquiries. The date that they cashed the check is irrelevant.
I would normally agree with you but the NFA branch has dedicated people who answer these questions (and other questions) and they are not examiners. I would agree though that there is no “need” to call prior to 90-120 days unless you just “have” to know your progress. Sending in a personal check is nice b/c you watch for it be cashed and they you know they at least have your paperwork.
