OK this is my first post on this forum and I’ve read all the rules and have searched as deligently as possible to find the answer both on here and on the internet in general in an attempt to prevent being made a jerk of, so if i’ve made a mistake please berrate me to your fullest extent. SO…WHAT HAPPENED TO THE SWAT VIDEO…???
This is added…
“Magpul Dynamics has not released a SWAT training video. Not to say we never will but nothing in the works at the moment.”
JILL REYNOLDS *COURSE ADMINISTRATOR
Ok now big disclaimer here IM NOT TRYING TO START ANY HATE OR DISCONTENT HERE I HAVE BEEN AND WILL BE A HUGE MAGPUL FAN FOR A WHILE NOW, but didn’t they advertise the video or am I the only “Certifiable” Crazy here???
I think the trailer you, and I as well, have both seen entitled Magpul SWAT trailer was just simply mislabeled, I think it was just a marketing video for Magpul Dynamics Law Enforcement training services.
yep, thats the video. I downloaded The Art of the Tactical Carbine and that video was with it under the title Magpul SWAT Training Trailer… personally just trying to derive from the context of the video, and the way it simply says MAGPUL DYNAMICS at the end, I think its just a marketing video for them to present to LE agencies showing that they provide SWAT type training courses. Someone without common sense, saw it and re-titled it thinking it was a real training video.
the comments for the video say " Short promo piece shot during a SWAT training class"… so its just a promotional tool for them to run at places like SHOT Show
never stated I didn’t pay for it, I am a pilot and wanted the option to have it on a hard drive so I don’t have to lug disc’s around with me when I travel. Its much more efficient to carry around a 1.5tb drive the size of a small novel, than it is to carry multiple dvd books that weight 15 pounds each.
So whether I rip my disc’s, or just download a torrent, its still the same…:big_boss:
That promo video was shot in Atlanta with a bunch of local swat cops, it was the first time Costa filmed with legion productions , kind of a test shot. A good time was had by all
In this case they may not have released it because of bad publicity. Atlanta PD has had a bad reputation for corruption the last few years. IE some of those guys he filmed with could be in jail now. I have a high school friend of mine that works there. He says there are some really good people there. Just a few bad apples.
