I just got a fixed front sight for a gas block for my m4 like this
my gas block looks like this
all the pics i see of guys with these front sights have them on there handguards.
will i be good to go?

that makes me feel better. I got a MI buis (thanks troy)and im waiting for a shipment from magpul to some in the mail(hi jessica). ill post pics once i get it all put together
The rail on the gas block should be the same height (relative to the barrel) as the rail on the upper receiver. This allows the front and rear BUIS to align properly. Unless it is an optical illusion, the rail on your gas block looks to be a little short.
What brand of gun is it?
No it wont work you need on that is specific for a railed gas block.
yeah that was my concern. its an aero percision lower on a god knows who made the upper.
I can only find three companys that make these. dpms, ar-stoner and utg. dpms says there are for a gas block. So i got one. they all looked the same. i should have just kicked myself in the ass.
If you ordered one for the gas block your ok.
