What else do I need?

I have been listening to much of the advice given on here and from my local Shop.

From that advice I have started to put together my kit for classes, etc. But I would like to know where to move next.

Here is what I have

I know I still need some form of Pistol mag holder, a knife, light, and a multi-tool of some sort. What else am I missing here?

It honestly looks like you have/ have listed the bare essentials for a class. Everything else that you might be able to think of is optional. ie hydration pack etc.

Pistol mag pouches, med kit, leatherman or something like that. How many mags do those pouches on the chest rig hold?

Edited to add: Shit I just read the part below the picture, Still med gear is always a plus.

Load is 3 in the chest rig, 2 on the belt. There is room on the chest rig for 2 pistol or light pouches. I am trying to figure out the best place to pit the pistol mags.

I can put one easily accessable on the minimav but the belt is running out of accessable room. I wonder if I should move the dump pouch further back. But then it would be very hard to access.

I hate being so lacking in knowlege/experience.

Tourniquet and med-kit. I got my initial one from these guys: http://www.narescue.com/Casualty_Response_Kits-CN3000250D2301.html?BC=7A8380D04EAB

The pouches they use absolutely blow, but you can get just the innards and jam them into a no-kidding blow-out kit bag of your choosing. Tricky part is usually putting it in such a place, on your belt or your chest, that you can reach it with either hand.

I ended up going to both lines, given that my belt is the first thing I put on and is designed to act as a stand-alone. Belt’s got a TK and a wound dressing on it, forward of my holster close to the belt buckle. Plate carrier has a more complete kit (NP tube, 14ga needle, gloves, another TK) immediately above the belt’s med stuff. All reachable by either of my hands and still out of the way of the stuff I use all the time (ammo, tools)
