What does "CM" stand for?

What does “CM” stand for when it’s stamped on the bolt?

It’s on my BM carbine that has MP tested barrel 5.56 with 1:9 twist. All information is stamped on the parts.

And how can you tell if the bolt carrier is chromed lined?

Thanks in advanced for dealing with a noobie that wants to learn.

chrome moly. hopefully, its followed by 4150

I thought it was Continental Machine and tool. CMT.

Yeah no kidding. How cool would that be. As it is most chicks give me the glazed expression when it comes to fire arms

Look inside your bolt carrier where the bolt goes in and if its a chrome color its chrome lined and the same with the gas key.
