What distance do you sight the Eotech?

I just installed Eotech 512 in LaRue mount. What distance should I sight it?

Edited Its 16" Stag Upper

50 yards?

50 yards is the preferred distance.

Yup at 50 yards it will be right on the money at 100 also.

I zero my red dots at the same distance as my iron sights . . .

In this case . . . (drum roll) . . . 50 yards.

Mine’s at 100 yards.
