What can you run with an H3 Buffer.

Hey Guys

I just finished putting together my lower, and I’m thinking of putting an H3 buffer in with a standard BCM Carbine Spring. What barrel lengths can I run reliably. All uppers I have are BCM. I have 14.5’s, 16’s 18’s and 20’s. Can I run all of these off the same lower with an H3?

an h2 would 100% cycle all of those probably even with steel case. an h3 might choke on an 18" w/ rifle gas or 14.5 w/ mid length.

With 5.56 ammo, all of 'em.

This. I’ve done it personally with all of them.

I use an H3 in 16" mid, 16" carbine, and a 13.7" mid. They all work flawlessly.

I use H3 in my 14.5 noveske with no problems.
