What buffer tube for AR pistol? CAR?

So I am wondering what distinguishes the buffer tube of an AR pistol from a carbine. Is it merely the lack of the holes for the buttstock positioner?

Mine is a CAR length and has no holes. There are some shorter pistol buffer tube set ups, but from what I’ve seen, they can create reliability problems.

Easy day.

Get a Spikes Carbine Pistol buffer tube or RRA. All standard same tube length w/o holes for stock etc.

I prefer the foam they offer as well, as I use it as a 3rd. POC (Point Of Contact) to shoot from.
