What brand and profile bbl should I go w/?

Okay guys I’m in the process of gathering my parts for a new upper build I’m gonna be working on.

The specs are as follows:

-CMT upper w/ M4 feedramps
-13.7" barrel
-Permanently attached KX3
-DD 13.5" FF rail
-Colt BCG
-Troy BUIS
-Larue SPR mount
-GRSC 1-4X optic

So now here’s my question. Which brand of barrel should I get and what profile?

I’m thinking either a gov’t profile to cut down or a lightweight profile. I want to be able to save weight where I can and what better place than the barrel right?

Now I need a barrel w/ the m4 ramps b/c I already have bought the CMT upper (which I was planning on getting the ramps anyways). So that leaves me w/ Colt, CMMG, LMT, BCM, Wilson (do they have ramps…not sure!!!)

I was also planning on just having the FSB shaved down to a low-pro type gas block to save some money.

So what are your suggestions guys?

What is the weapon going to be used for?

Duty, 3-Gun, ect…

I have no official use for it as of yet. I am going into LE (got my degree and now working on my Master’s) but I doubt this will be a duty gun. So more so a plinker/etc.

I didn’t cut it for the Army SEAL space door gunner position. :smiley:
