Yes, updates please.
Thanks rob on your links posted, I think i will start out with the contractor belt and work my way up. I am planning on using the belt to do drills, with the dump bag i would also use to store shotgun shells in while with my 9 year old honing his skills in shooting and walking the woods with him. Just a do it your all belt if i’m throwing out a $100 bill or more.
i like that ;thanks for posting!!
I have an old Eagle Evidence Pouch on one of my Contractor Belts but Eagle doesn’t make it anymore unfortunately. I just got an EGL Duty Belt pouch and I like the look of it but haven’t mounted it up yet. It’s going on my ip-sic belt while my Eagle pouch is on my 3-gun belt.
The good ol’ ‘buy once cry once’ statement has been around an awful long time on this forum and couldn’t be more true. I have been lucky and other than some small AR furniture type items (from drinking the kool aid) my larger purchases have worked out. Luckily the HSGI belt isn’t to pricey. I will certainly share what I find out.
HSGI SGPB on the way here too.
Just recieved a custom Trim Bush from Esstac as well (very very impressed).
Will post pics soon.
 Well I received my HSGI Sure Grip and tacos. It’s very nice. While I am not a materials or sewing guru…the items seem to be very well made. I ordered with the cobra belt and it all came in smoke green. I haven’t attached the tacos yet because there is one problem…it doesn’t fit. Not even close. It is very small. It is as advertised as far as overall length…42 end to end. And I measured my waist and everything as their instructions said but it is too small(probably need lesson in measuring own waist). I also thought the inside belt would have some give but it is as long as it will get when you get it. You could cheat and get 2 or 3 inches out of it but I tried that and I can just barely touch the buckles together.
It’s pretty nice gear but I can’t wear it at this point. I certainly have some extra weight to lose and that will definately make it better. Not sure what I will do. Send it back or lose twenty. I’m all for losin the twenty but that will take time…time without my new belt.
I guess I won’t be able to give any real feedback about it’s use but it does seem like pretty nice gear.
