“…And may their first child be a masculine child”
Double congrats!
These days good news is. . . . really good. Thank you for sharing.
Congrats! That is a pistol with some character and congratulations on your future addition to the family!
GU
My little girl has been more of a blessing than any gun I own… Congrats on the new addition.
I have my grandfather’s 1911 and will always cherish it.
Congrats on both counts. Shoot it a few times, and get it a make over.
Boy, Girl, too early to tell?

Congrats! One day you will be passing down that 1911.
Sounds like a great day!
Congrats!
Congrats on the news!
Receiving a grandfather’s firearm can be an emotional thing because it means you lost an important person in your life (at least it did to me).
Cherish the 1911 but, if you are like me, you will understand you have been merely entrusted with it to pass on to your children.
If he has a daughter and she is Masculine I get the feeling he is going to want to kick your ass.
congrats! I girl is turning 2 next week. and ironicly, when i found out i was having a girl i went and bought a 1911.
Meh, just quoting Godfather and Clerks II ![]()
Very cool, congratulations!
The baby is definitely the better of the two, but congratulations on both.
Congrats! Now if it’s a boy you have to name him Colt.![]()
Sounds like a good day.
Start a new chapter in that 1911’s history: Wear it in the delivery room for your child’s birth, and one day pass it on to him/her.
