Daniel Defense stopped making their pistol offerings… I confirmed that with DD reps at the NRA Show in Atlanta… Hopefully they will return to making them seeing the popularity of AR Pistols is growing…

It seems from perusing instagram and other social media that everything I see is a mk18 cqbr clone, more than any other rifle. If its the popular thing to do at the moment, that may explain the shortage, and $600 dollar price im seeing just the risII going for some places.
i found a few for sale locally and they want as much as 2200.00. this is dumb.
Western Sport shows some of the uppers for sale at least. Looks like the full pistol is out of stock. Bought my M4V5 upper from them without issue; I have no other affiliation with the company.

Yeah, those are definitely new to the DD site.
Just now seeing this. I spoke with DD and they were quite informative. Due to their demand on other rifles, they suspended the production of the mk18 pistol until they met other orders (I am sure military contracts). They have started making them but you can imagine the market for them. I mean who doesn’t want THE sbr that started it all without the tax stamp.
I got myself one from buds gun shop back in November of 2017. They were gone in less than 48 hours, primary Arms had some in stock too, but they were sold quickly also.
