Myth. Throwing loaded AR is dangerous
 This made me laugh out loud.
I like your sense of humor.
I’d like to see the myth about GI Triggers “sucking” busted.

I have an A2 lower with a USGI trigger. I will throw that on the SPR and compare group sizes at 300 yards. The SPR currently wears a SSA-E.
I look upon thee with intense satisfaction and admiration.

I believe 99.7% of people merely need to Buy a 6920 and get a life!
Prove me wrong
The twist myth, that you need to match your bullet weight to twist beyond:
Won’t stabilize (with a safety margin please), and
Super light varmint bullets coming apart.
Not necessarily AR but… 223 isn’t good for anything except varmint.

I’ve heard 68+ gr will “explode” the 1/9 twist barrel

Sir, you are a gentleman and a scholar.
Myth: the AR must be clean to function.
But I think #4 addresses that.
Plus HOW clean they have to be. Generous lube and a simple wipedown + boresnake seem to be all mine need. I guess bore cleaning/copper removal when I have fired enough rounds.
Myth #? - Longer barrels are more accurate. Admittedly not exclusive to the AR, but rampant on AR posts throughout the internet, and definitely overheard at the gunstore.

I’m curious Euro; what percentage of posters on m4c do you feel that you are preaching to the choir? Just a guess obviously because no real way to tell.
To me, threads like these serve as great references to share with other people.
This.
