Yesterday at the range I was shooting one of my 1911’s and got a vert stove pipe. The stove pipe locked the slide to the rear and made the mag un-dropable. So on closer inspection the cartridge rim lodged itself under both feedlips standing vertical and wedged in away that locked everything together. It took about 10mins to clear with a multi-tool. Im lucky it was at the range.
Try more lube, and the gun was dirty, and you were limp wristing, and you have to buy the new Wilson Elite mags! 
I’d check the feed lips of that mag and probably toss it purely as a precaution.
Then I’d flagellate myself for an hour for carrying a 1911.
