As I understand it, most people own plates in case of “an event”. It also amuses me how many of those people still think such an “event” is mostly going to be same/similar scenario as current day EDC. Not that the most likely scenario that kicks off any engagement they might be in is probably going to start with “them” shooting at you, especially in an urban area, that here are way more of “them” than you, and that like all good predators, “they” like to work in packs…
Here in the Northwet, the past few years have seen several murders at popular shooting spots on public lands, so I’ve been recommending always having one member of your group eyes-uprange on Overwatch at all times. This would just seem to be a logical extension of that.
Yep. If we’d have someone strange approach when we were shooting, I’d drift off to the flank with my carbine and let one of the more social guys figure out what the person wants. We had some fukk approach us in the desert to ask about a good brake shop, I think. OK, douchebag! You’re walking down the gas line road and want to ask about a brake shop?
