Weapon light compatible holsters.

I have become accustomed to carrying my concealed handgun with a weapon light attached. I am looking for a good concealment holster (leather or kydex) for a Glock 19 w/ Surefire X300 Ultra attached. So far, this is what I have come up with as far as a list of options:

Raven Concealment (obviously): I own 3 of their LC holsters, but the lead time is ridiculous now.
FIST Holsters: Will custom make a light compatible leather holster for an additional $25.
TT Gunleather: Will custom make a light compatible holster at no additional cost, but I would have to let him borrow my light because he doesn’t have one to mold from.

Anyone have experience with FIST or TT light compatible holsters? Anyone have any other good options that I’m missing?

Dark Star Gear is my go to for kydex. Well thought out and nicely made products.

Second Line Holsters fits the bill… Kydex, IWB, light compatible. Haven’t tried them out yet, but they look great! Gonna get a couple for my m&p’s soon.

Off The Grid Concepts

PerSec Systems. Steve (from PSS) and the RCS both frequent the board which is always a plus.

I’ve had good luck with PerSec holsters. Just ordered one for my g22 with x300Ultra, lead time is 4 - 7 weeks as of last night.

+1 awesome stuff, I have two gun holsters and a mag pouch, awesome pieces of kit.

Support your local guys.

When searching several years ago for a light compatible holster, it became clear the leather choices were terrible. One of our crew did go with the Aker Leather version and likes it, but the rest of us broke with tradition and adopted our first ever “plastic” holsters.

Four years with Raven (G22/X300 and G21/X300) and I can’t imagine using anything else. I have recently found a local guy (to me) who makes very good kit. Not sure what his lead times are now, but I’m sure he is faster than Raven. Google RDR Custom Kydex.

Good luck.

I would be happy to work with you on something as well. I have molds for the G19 and surefire X300. Does the ultra model have a different profile? Brimstone has one of my LC holsters for T&E if you would like to get an unbiased opinion.

I have a kolbeson light compatible itw holster that is NOT tuckable that I really like. Comp-tac makes a light bearing version of the minotaur, which is tuckable.

Ritchie makes a few LC leather holsters. I have a non-LC holster from Ritchie. It’s very nice.

Ultra’s dimensions are different.

Good to know, thanks. Not to hijack but are Ultras very popular vs. standard X300?

Yes, the bezel on the ultra is about 1/4" longer than the standard 300. Not sure why Surefire did this as anyone who upgrades will have to replace their holsters as well.

I have a holster on order from Trotac. Everything I’ve read seems good. I didn’t get a light bearing version, but they do make them.

I’ll put up my thoughts on the holster when I receiver it later on this month.

Kaluban Cloak makes a fantastic holster that is a lot like Raven Concealment without the long wait time. I carry my PPQ with a TLR-1s every day with it and I love it. And the best part is, I got mine within a week of ordering it.

Quick Ship is at 30 days or less.

I’m waiting for my Dark Star Gear for a 19 with TLR-1. My mag pouches from him are top notch and his lead time is generally 2 weeks.

Make your own.

It took me all of 5 minutes with a heat gun to modify 2 Raven and 1 other Kydex holster to fit the Ultra. It fit fine in my x300 Safariland tactical and duty holsters since they were really made for the TLR lights.
