I still question if these events are just a setup to end gun shows altogether. If these are honestly just random accidents, then yes I would call whoever put the rounds in the chamber and those who did not check it before they pulled the trigger “dumbasses” and “stupid”. They in their acts may have just helped to stop gun shows altogether. We will be the ones who also pay for their stupidity.

The one in Indianapolis hit himself in the hand so probably not staged. Just inexperienced persons in a frenzy.

It doesn’t matter who pays for their ignorance. That was not my point. And I agree that these incidents will be fodder for the tyrants.

I disagree. Stupid people and stupid actions go hand and hand. Being in sales for over 22 years and dealing with all types of people from all over the world on a daily basis have shown me this. I myself am tired of paying for the actions of stupid people. I think my tag line at the bottom of every post says it all.

Yes. Or someone dropped one in the chamber after they went in. Maybe they just hid it? I believe they would stop at nothing now that the gun control ball is rolling.

More people than ever are attending gun shows in droves with the hopes to obtain something their Federal government is threatening to take away from them. The state run media’s propaganda machine has its sights set on America’s gun culture. This sensationalism is only to be expected. Even more reason to have your shit squared away.

I’m an engineer and a driver yet I make mistakes at both.

I suppose you have never talked on the phone while driving; never tailgated or obstructed traffic; never traveled faster than the posted speed limit; never ran a stop sign; never pulled into an adjacent lane only to realize it was occupied. Am I also to believe that you’ve never slipped or tripped while walking; knock over a glass of water. The list is endless.

Yes, they violated the rules of firearm handling and they paid handsomely.

Don’t judge unless the person CHOOSES to be an ass about safety. I have a co-worker who is ex-Army tell me he “hates safety Nazis” and apparently thinks little of “treat all firearms as if they are loaded, don’t point them at anything you don’t want destroyed…” I have no fucking clue what he feels is acceptable safety and I don’t wish to bridge that conversation with him as its an asinine position that he may have to learn the hard way. I just do not wish to be around for that revelation.

Yes, all of these NDs were either upon entry inspection or in the case of the two pistols it seems to be after the show perhaps in parking lot.

I don’t think any were actually on the floor of the show past the ticket entrance.

I do not think anyone knows for sure. They have not even released the name of the dealer who pulled the trigger.

Ok, yes, you are correct.

So that day they had --extra security-- and a guy brings a gun in the show in a box. Loaded gun and loaded magazine. chambered round.

After the man sells the gun and leaves the facility the dealer decides to open the box and see if the gun is loaded. Noticing the magazine was loaded he accidentally pulls the trigger.
