Was this a kaboom?

I found this .32 auto case while policing my brass today. Was this a kaboom? Or possibly chambered in the wrong pistol? Just thought it was interesting.

Looks like it was chambered in the wrong pistol, maybe a 9mm. 9mm looks similar when fired in a .40.

Somebody stuck it in a 9mm or 380. Likely no real damage done.

Looks like the case just fire formed to the chamber as best it could.

Thanks guys. Pretty crazy that the brass will stretch that much.
