Warped yoke Llama Super Comanche, can it be fixed?

One of my family members brought me a Llama Super Comanche .44 magnum with some issues. They bought it at a garage sale hoping I could do something with it. At a minimum, the yoke is warped, and the ejector rod may be having problems as well. They haven’t made these since 94, and Numrich doesn’t even stock any parts for them. Is there anything that can be done?

The frame and barrel and all the internals are good to go, and it’s actually a pretty nice gun, finish is at 99%. I think someone just sat there snapping the cylinder shut about ten thousand times until it destroyed the yoke. It’s a crying shame, but I’m hoping maybe there’s something to be done about it.

Try following the Kuhnhausen S&W shop manual for this problem. They’re pretty similar and it may work.

Yes, it be fixed. Find a very deep lake & throw the Llama in it. Then go buy a new Smith & Wesson Model 29 or Model 629.

There are other sources for parts.

I can check a catalog, but it will be later in the week.

If it’s like other llamas I’ve seen, the metal is pretty soft. It can likely be pushed back, but the trick will be getting it lined up.
