I have not really posted here, only read from time to time. While my join date is a few years old, I admit to not being super familiar with customs over here.
In the place I used to hang out, I used to do a dinner periodically. I called it Knights of Wonder, evolved it into Meat Up For Liberty. What is it, a dinner for freedom lovers to get together for a night at a churrascuria, usually Fogo de Chao. But it could vary. My experience is most people are familiar and wanted a known commodity. I hosted one in Virginia that drew 80 people. I have hosted several in DFW that draw around 30 people or so. I am wondering what would be the interest here in members participating in a dinner.
This dinner is nothing more than meat sweats. I get nothing out of it. I organize it. I have a commemorative morale patch made and give them out. Just about like minded people from around the country getting together for a night of MEAT. Picanha is one of my favorites.
I have interest in doing one around Naples Florida and one in Pennsylvania. Those places because requests were made. And I have personal ties and reasons connected to those requests.
I don’t hang out at the old place anymore. Keeping it classy no need to discuss that, if you really want to know you personal message me. But since I don’t hang out there anymore I have spent more time looking over here. And thought I would try interest in that type of dinner over here.
