I have been waiting on my p-mags from brownells since mid december. Anyone else waiting this long? BTW new member here and I like what I see and read here. Had to give up the kool aid from the OTHER SITE…
I’ve got an order from Nov 24 that still hasn’t made it to me completely. They did ship a single Pmag the other day. They will make it around to you.
I think they’ll get to the late November order soon, december maybe another month. I ordered 11/11 for 25 magazines. It took them three shipments to complete the order. The first shipment was the first week of January, then the other two arrived a week apart.
If you placed a backorder, did you request them to hold all shipments until all of your items are ready to ship?
If you did, it’s possible that they are waiting on one or two parts to “complete” the entire order before sending it out. I know I was waiting on a specific color Pmag to complete my order before they sent it out (I wanted my order to be one shipment, not several packages).
I placed a backorder for Pmags with them the first few days of Dec and my order arrived at the very end of Dec…

Same here. I ordered a few around then too, and haven’t received them yet. I sent an email to check, and they said the backorder will remain active. If changes needed to be made then I would get a notification.
If I had thought it would have been this much of a “forget about it, until I get the surprise on my doorstep” scenario I would’ve ordered a lot more!
Placed a ‘panic’ order for a dozen on the 4th of December. Still waiting. Received a couple of items immeadiately but no PMAGS. Contacted them the other day to see if they were still on BO or if the order was cancelled just to confirm they were BO. Still waiting…
I ordered 10 on the 2nd of dec still no mags.
My back order has been going since 01 DEC 08 and still waiting…and waiting…
I’m actually still waiting on a handful of FDE 30-rounders from about 11-10-08. No big deal to me, since I’ve got plenty of other mags and I just periodically order PMAGS to fill out my Brownells orders. However, I’m wondering if I may have gotten lost in the shuffle - I keep reading on TOS that people are receiving FDE mags that placed recent orders.
I ordered 2 seperate orders on Dec 1-5, cant remember exact days. I got 8 of the starndad black non-windowed, 2 - 20 rounders, and 6 windowed, and a 3 pack of the black, windowed, with magpul’s. I have been receiving them as they come in. I got my two 20’s about a week and a half ago, just got my 8 non-windowed mags on the 24th, and just got an email that a few more are going to ship. I knew when i ordered them on backorder it would be a while, but that is fine. I got these for a damn good price, and sure as hell wasnt going to buy them from the assholes selling them on gun broker with starting bids of $25+ per mag, when they bought them for $15. :rolleyes:
On Nov. 10 2008 I placed an order for 6 30 round black, 2 20 round black, and 6 OD. As of last week I have received all of them. They trickled in a few at a time. Brownells is GTG. Be patient.
I placed my plain black PMAG order on the same day and have not seen squat. Brownell’s is messing with me!
I got my order in from brownells !!! ok it was just the free catalog…lol I sent them an e-mail about my order and was informed that if you make any changes to your order—color/qty. you will be bumped to the end of the line on backorders…still waiting on pmags but I will be patient with them. All the mag whores have gobbled them up…lol
I’ve ordered a lot of stuff from Brownells over the years, and they have always had outstanding customer service. I think most of you just ordered items that are in very high demand. Based on my experience, if they become unable to fulfill your order, they will contact you right away and ask what you want to do. If you are patient, I think everything will be fine.
Give them a call, they’ll be able to set expectations for you on how long it will take. Very good people, Montezuma is on my stop every time I’m home destination list. I ordered 10 Foliage Green Pmags directly from Magpul in September that are still unaccounted for so you can definitely be in for a wait!
I was part of a small group order of 35 assorted P-mags which was made on 11/25 and the order arrived approximately on 1/8/09.
I’ve noticed that some here have placed there PMAG order with Brownell’s on a date after the date I placed my order and they have already received their orders.
I think I might have figured out part of the delay problem. Those making “backorder” purchases might want to take note.
I ordered this [b]PMAG Ranger Floorplate Combo[/b] item instead of this non-combo [b]PMAG[/b].
uh ohh, something else for me to spend money on…lol

Just got one black windowed in the mail today from Brownells. Date code 12/09:D Screw an AWB in 09, I’m already stocking up on my high-cap post-ban mags.
