I am helping a buddy out in purchasing a new AR and need some help. I currently own a Noveske N4 low-pro sbr, and he wants a similar rifle.
I am suggesting a Noveske N4 basic 14.5, or an LMT that’s comparable. Both Noveske and LMT are not currently selling these direct.
What is the current wait time and where is the best place to get them?
They have been sold out everywhere since a couple of days after the CT school shooting. If he really wants one, be prepared to pay a lot on gunbroker. Otherwise, wait it out.
I was told they had temporarily stopped acceptiong whole-gun orders from their dealer network due to long lead times/demand.
im just waiting for a noveske stripped lower and a nsr handguard to become available 
Not sure on a entire rifle, but I ordered a Noveske upper from my dealer back in mid September, still unknown ETA.
LMT’s online store is temporarily shut down right now b/c of all the craziness lately.
