just bought my first AR yesterday and I’m kinda set on this scope it gets fantastic reviews and it’s not ridiculously expensive. I plan on using the gun for mostly varmint hunting and some target shooting. When im done upgrading the gun will have a 20" barrel of some sort and i’d like to be able to at least shoot to 600 yards. does anyone else use this scope and like it?
Unless you’re trying to shoot tiny groups at 600, why would this much magnification be necessary? …and even then, it might not be necessary. 10x will be much more practical and useable for your application IMO
I have the 2.5-10x Viper PST btw…great scope as far as I can tell right now.
