How? I thought the two tabs just pulled down, but its taking more force than I suspected. Is there something else? New n4 w/ vis and mur.
You just need to put a little more juice into it. I would possibly hit it briefly with some lube or oil.
I take something like a screw driver, wedge the tip into the bottom of the side rail, place the “shaft” of the screw driver on the tab (on the side opposite of the tab “hinge”), and lever it open. I’ve even used a regular ball point pen before. They really are near impossible to take off by hand…at least mine is.
Success! I used a plastic grip-core for the MOE that came with the weapon. It just took a little more effort. I wanted to make sure I wasn’t struggling against design before I applied more effort. Thanks!
