I wonder how the price will compare to just buying both the A5H0 and A5H4 to mix and match weights.
Nothing Earth shattering. Standard carbine buffer weights are interchangeable with the A5 buffers, anyways. The only difference is the A5H4 has a spring in the Tungsten weight, where the others have a spring in the steel weights.
Looks like the silver colored housing is made of stainless making it a little diff. (heavier) than the standard assembled ones
How do you figure looking silver makes it stainless?? I have dark skin and a big dick… Does that make me a negro??

I’m still all about forcing the gas port to match the correct buffer.
There is a certain charm to doing things the right way…
All the more reason for companies to offer barrels with custom drilled gas ports.
Like if I wanted a 10.5 with 0.055 for example.

A properly gassed barrel in semi-auto makes buffer selection almost irrelevant.
I saw this yesterday, and I think this is a good move for Vltor. While, not for everyone, I think they will sell plenty of them. I probably would have bought it back before I bought several different A5 buffers, and may still at some point but maybe not.

Maybe not earth shattering, but the A5 system is pretty impressive, and this is the first time I’ve personally seen a buffer kit setup like this.
Don’t get me wrong, the A5 buffer system is incredible and I have them on every rifle I own. Just stating my opinion.
I agree it is a neat concept. If it doesn’t cost too much more than a couple of A5H5 buffers, I’ll probably get one.

The firearms industries is a business… And the VLTOR A5 buffer system seems to have being ‘the thing’ as of late…
So to sell more stuff, VLTOR came out with a way for a person to setup their buffer without a lot of trial and error in having to buy a bunch of complete A5 buffers.
Sure some prefer to tune gas ports, or ensure they get the port they like from jump.
Thats great, but not everyone does it that way, or even has the knowledge base for it. Some don’t want to buy 2-3 buffers to figure out what works best.
