I bought this in May of 2012, it is in good condition (other than being painted which I understand will hinder some). It is for a mil-spec buffer tube and has probably 2000 rounds through it on the carbine but I went back to a CTR to try to save a little weight. This is an FDE stock underneath the paint. I painted it when I painted my rifle with FDE, OD and a dark brown. The wear marks are just paint coming off. Functions 100%.
