Anyone have one of these, and does it mount with a larue BUIS or LMT?
How well does it make an EOTECH clear the front sight post?

I’m more interested in the LMT BUIS though, and it looks like it takes up a bit more rail space. I’m looking into it, and I e-mail vltor, and LMT. Vltor is giving a pretty good military discount.

The LT buis works great. Nice rail that probably should be more popular than it is.
That is the prettiest AR I think I’ve seen! I’ll have to post a pic of my M&P15A when it’s done.
In my experience, the Eotech blocks the view through the iron sites, so I opted to use a folding rear. Then I changed my mind and went with an Aimpoint anyway. With a lower Aimpoint mount, you can get a lower 1/3 cowitness. I generally prefer the LMT BUIS, but it didn’t work well with the CASV.
I agree with Cohiba, the CASV is a good system that really should be more popular. I’ve got a DD Omega rail and the CASV is as solid. The only downside is that the top rail is higher than standard and IMHO because you can’t use the LMT BUIS.
Good system, (Naval EOD uses them). No joy with the EOTech though (too high).

I’d like to get my Eotech above the Front sight post on the M&P though. I don’t like how much of it can be seen. I’m not one that cares or like the co-witness.
If you do not care about being able to see your irons through your optic, than the CASV is your best option.

Is this rail FF?
Yes, it is. It’s a two-piece unit that essentially clamps around the existing barrel nut and delta ring. I have one on my recce and love it!
I wish that they made a non-delta ring model!
