Video: Shooting Conventional Bullpups from the Left Shoulder

I have no doubt that they are serious…It is a very valid design that needs more QC. I hope the bugs get worked out as I really like it.

Ah. Sorry. My bad.:o

The Italians sometimes have a habit of over designing some weapons. I remember reading about one of their ww2 machine guns that came with integral oiler and after shooting would put the spent cases nicely back in the clip to save them for later.

Is www.warriortalk.com for real? I went to one of their sub forums and it was all about airsoft

Ok looks like thats just one subforum, found this link on one of the other sub forums…I want

We should all thank Frank for doing an excellent job showing us what to expect if we attempt to fire a side ejecting bullpup from the contralateral shoulder. If you try to emulate his performance keep in mind that your eyes are part of your central nervous system. This type of tissue will not regenerate like your skin cells. Therefore consider wearing wrap around eye protection and attempt to minimize the gaps between the glasses and your skin so no shell casings can get behind your glasses ( I currently have a burn on my knee due to a casing slipping under my knee pad during a drill ).

Some how I figured I would find your video posted on here. You posted it on another forum and they pretty much laughed you out of there. I guess its a good thing the people on this forum are more “polite”.

As others have said it is possible to shoot bullpups from the left side, just not practical or overly effective. Emergency situation…sure you can do it, but I would hate to be the lefty that got stuck with one.

For those who don’t believe the quick change ejection of the ARX-160 isn’t quick or pratical enogh, here is a video of a guy actually shooting and changing. It takes about 5 seconds!

Lot of apprehension and resistance here.
(Plus a Lightfighter fanboy who wants to carry on their childish desire to make this personal ( seriously, let it go.)

Yet I can shoot my suppressed AUG from the left shoulder all day.
(Those who actually watched the video might notice that the suppressor’s backpressure throws the brass forwards.)

Probably because you’re not the first to go pimping their “look at me” videos full of bad technique and inferior weapon systems, all the while ignoring any and all criticisms of said videos. Just a thought.

A “brass buster” sold by ratworx will fix any issues with shooting AUG’s and AUG clones from the left shoulder. You retain total sight picture, plus the device actually stops those pesky gouges in your stock from the ejected brass…

Ha I think thas the first time I have ever been called a “fanboy”. Thank you, I guess? And sorry if I struck a nerve and brought up bad memories for you. You go right ahead and keep making bad videos FrankDude, and Ill go right ahead and keep laughing at them. “And Slash” Peace out.

:haha:

Its nothing personal, you got spanked on Lightfighter. Its funny, you call them childish, yet you’re the one that went there seeking attention.

We also saw those malfunctions from brass bouncing of you “mustache” and falling back in the ejection port. We cant forget the blood drawn from some of that brass as well.

You so cra’azy!

If you guys want to continue the LF drama you need to do it over there in the Team Room. Lets keep this thread on topic

I had a friend without a mustache who tried firing my AUG left handed after I warned him not to. Within a few shots he had the same type of malfunction along with a bloody lip.

I can only assume that the same friend tested the conectlvity in lightsockets using silverware when he was a small child, but that’s not relative to the video being discussed.

If you run your cheek back on the stock the way Frankdude demonstrated in his video to avoid getting hit in the face with casings, you run start running beyond the optics effective eye relief, plus it isnt natural as compared to where you are used to planting your cheek.

I use a Brass Buster on both of my AUG clones (our local 3-gun requires off hand shooting in some stages) and have never had a casing jam up the bolt/carrier. You can run your nose right up to the Brass Buster and are still able to use your optics effectively. However if you didn’t have a brass buster and still needed to shoot weak side, you lay your off hand over the top of the stock and let your palm and fingers direct the brass downward. Your cheek weld is on the top of your off hand.

ETA: Yes, one of my clones is chambered in 7.62x39 and the other in 5.56
