He was holding the gun using a VFG. The VFG came off the gun and he shot himself in the left hand.
Honestly, I can’t say 100% that IF I had shot myself that I’d have reacted any better than this guy did. Of course, I think I would have made sure the VFG was properly attached BEFORE I shot the gun…
