That being said, the video shows some “hey bill, hold my beer” type of dudes engaging in some ridiculous backyard test. I don’t know if it’s real or not, but it’s definitely worth a look to see what NOT to do with firearms.
dunno… seems like they would have been a lot more interested in his wound had it been real… like people running up to look for a bullet under the skin, etc… but who knows?
The vest stopped the bullet but it still broke the skin. About 00:56 one of the idiotss says the bullet is still in the vest, “but it pinched the shit out of him.”:rolleyes:
Vest stopped it. the transfer of momentum to his soft tissue (aka skin) cause the rupture. The same thing happened to me when a frag hit the soft part of my body armor in Iraq…right above my right kidney. It broke the skin and I was pissing blood for a few days. I was wearing a medium vest before that…I quickly traded for a large. :eek:
