very proud USMC father

Picture says it all.

Did he graduate this weekend?

I hope you and Mom had a safe trip there and back. Be sure and thank your young Marine for us.

The Infamous poolee sticker!

Also, the infamous ‘I am now driving my parents car’ sticker.

Semper Fi.

Congratulations. Any graduation Pics?

He graduates Friday the 24th. He completed the Crucible Thursday morning and shared his warriors breakfast with some Chosin Reservoir vets who came to his EGA ceremony.

We’re heading to San Diego Wednesday.

I will post them as soon as I get back from San Diego.

It was in his poolee packet, but he sure as blazes isn’t a poolee now.

I couldn’t be more proud to display it.

Actually 4x4 Dodge Dakota Sport Quad Cab with the big V8, leather, CD, etc.

And yes, he can buy his own wheels now if he thinks the sticker will embarrass his girlfriend.

Oo-rah!

Semper Fi! Hopefully I’ll get one of those someday, I think my youngest is headed that way. To make it 3 generations.

Flying to San Diego today. So proud of my son, and proud of all the other new Marines in Lima Company graduating Friday. Glad they got to eat their Warrior’s Breakfast with veterans of Chosin Reservoir. Wishing them well as they take a break with family before getting on with their tough job.

Thats awesome. He’s already done more then ill ever do in 4 years. FAST gets really good training.

<<<Jealous

What are you doing, blackknight? Are you USMC? Military? My hat is off to you whatever your assignment. All of it plays a part in protecting my way of life and I am profoundly grateful.

FAST guys were usually some of the best Marines I served with when they rotated out to the Fleet.

Oh FAST Co…Hopefully he gets a chance to do BSR, CQB School, HRST School, or any other good schools. Semper Fi

Please pass on our thanks and appreciation to your young Marine.

I remember when they created the FAST companies. They definitely went out of their way to pick some sharp folks. It’s terrific that your son will be a part of that tradition.

We will keep him in our thoughts, and pray for his safe and speedy return home.
