I’m looking to add a vertical grip to my carbine. I have been considering these: Bobro Engineering Vertical Grip - Shorty or the TangoDown SHORT QUICK DETACH Vertical Grip? Does anyone have any experience with either? I’m looking for the good, the bad, and the ugly. Or, is there another brand / style I should consider? Thanks in advance for your help.
i have the bobro shorty and i love it.
easy on and off and rock solid when tightened down
I typically do not like using a VFG. The only one I ever felt comfortable with was Magpul MOE (a shorty).
I just sold a tango down because i didnt like it. Bought it sort of on impulse. As far as VFG’s go, I like the Larue FUG the best.
That being said, I went Magpul AFG and dont think i’ll go back to verticals.
Larue or tango Down Shorty worked for me.
