Mr. Vickers,
I’ve noticed that you use some form of vertical foregrip for a large portion of your shooting with the AR-15/M16 platform as seen in after action reports as well as on Tac-Tv and one is even standard on your signature rifle from Daniel Defense. From reading responses from other SME’s it seems that the general consensus is that people will shoot less accurately with a vertical foregrip. I haven’t done enough shooting without a vertical foregrip to tell so I’m hoping you could answer a few lingering questions I had.

It is my understanding that you did not prefer vertical foregrips before, what reasons brought you to start using them more?

From your experience can an average shooter be just as accurate with a vertical foregrip?
